Our Story

Western Civil Pty. Ltd.

Founded in 2016, Western Civil is a privately held, ISO accredited Civil Engineering Contractor providing a range of civil construction services, to both the public and private sectors in Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Western Civil has an extensive supply chain and stakeholder network ensures expedited delivery of our projects. Our industry knowledge and construction nous are illustrated by our ability to deliver an array of civil works of varying disciplines. Western Civil has constructed projects in the most difficult of ground conditions from granite to running sands, even below sea-level, all with safety at front of mind.

Heavy Construction & Equipments

Western Civil own and operate over 35 items of heavy construction plant and have the supply chain to procure further specialist equipment where necessary.

Our current fleet includes Excavators from 2T – 50T (GPS control and hydraulic hammers), Graders (GPS control), Dozers (GPS control), Vibrating and Static Rollers, Loaders, Backhoes, Truck and Trailers, Tippers, Dump Trucks, Watercarts, Skid-Steer Loaders (with asphalt milling capability) and ancillary construction equipment.

Our internal survey team set out works with pinpoint accuracy using a combination of local and global positioning systems and interpret data to allow plant to utilise line and level positioning control.

Dean Stefanovic

Director - Business Operations B.Eng (Architectural)
(Honours 1^st Class)

Dean leads and implements our strategic development, sustainability, and goal realisation. His breadth of experience in various disciplines within the construction industry sectors include engineering, NPI, bridges, logistics and urban development provide an in depth understanding of fundamental deliverables for all stakeholders. Business savvy, Dean ensures Western Civil remains fluid and dynamic in the everchanging construction climate.

Daniel Zdraveski

Director - Operations and Construction B.Eng (Civil)
(Honours 1^st Class)

Daniel has a history of delivering projects as both a Project Manager and Superintendent within various construction environments including, large-scale bulk earthworks, remediation, road and rail infrastructure, government and authority stakeholder works, and urban development projects. His combination of project and site management skills provides Daniel a unique, proactive, and realistic approach to project delivery. A natural leader, Daniel co-ordinates our construction workforce and manages our fleet of plant, vehicles, and equipment.

Daniel Sirillas

Director - Precontracts and Delivery B.Eng (Civil & Infrastructure)
(Honours 1^st Class)

Daniel holds a unique skillset which couples financial control and business acumen, with an astute knowledge of construction processes, methodology and costings. Leading our project management and estimating teams, Daniel specialises in life-cycle delivery of construction projects from pre-contract to hand-over. Daniel has previously delivered an array of civil construction projects including, master-planned land developments, large-scale bulk earthworks, road infrastructure and pipelines.
